Mission Statement

Church Resource Ministries:

The critical decisions in life relate to the roads we choose. Having a clear vision and sense of mission infuses life with meaning and energy. At CRM our mission is to develop leaders to strengthen and start churches worldwide. CRM envisions movements of fresh, authentic churches, pioneered by godly leaders, fired by a passion for their world, compelled to multiply their lives and ministry, so that the name of God is renowned among the nations. We make it possible for people to live out a first century commitment to Christ in a 21st century world. As servant-missionaries, we simply seek to follow the Lord\'s plea to "do justice, love mercy, and walk humbly with our God."

Foundation for Hope and Life:

Specifically, this is a non-profit humanitarian organization, started up by the CRM-Siberia team in Irkutsk, Russia. The purpose for this organization is stated in the following vision statement:

The vision of FHL is to bring hope and life to the people of Eastern Siberia through achievable projects of social concern and economic development, including projects supporting local orphanages, starting up the Irkutsk Center for Entrepreneurship (ICE), opening the 9th Wave Cafe and Coffee Roaster, and establishing a partnership with a major relief and development organization.

Overview of Ministry Activity

The Foundation for Hope and Life (FHL) was registered as an official charitable organization by the city of Irkutsk in April of 1999, in order to respond to the social an economic difficulties presently facing Russia, and to encourage the restoration of Russian life and culture.

The work our team does within FHL is divided up by passion and ability. We include Americans and Russians on our staff. I, specifically, will be working with the orphanages in Irkutsk when I return there in the spring with my family. We are hoping to provide the orphanages with much needed supplies through organizations and large companies in the US, as well as offer manual support and labor through our church plant. We are in the early stages of our work and are researching how others are dealing with the social needs of Russians.
