According to Ruslan Maliuta, the President of the Alliance for Ukraine Without Orphans, the adoption statistics for Ukraine in 2011 were:

Total Adoptions: 3,078
 
National Adoptions: 2,109
 
Breakdown of national adoptions by age of child:
Under 1 year: 844
1-2 years: 645
3-5 years: 419
6-10 years 167
11-17 years: 34
 
International Adoptions: 969
 
Breakdown of international adoptions by age of child:
Under 1 year: 13
1-2 years: 103
3-5 years: 172
6-10 years: 412
11-17 years: 269
